JR Youth and Children's Summer Camps

Children Camp is for ages 9 to 15 and is designed so they learn spiritual qualities, Baha'i history and principles, experience Bahá'í community life and develop artistic and recreational skills.
The Junior Youth camp is for ages 12 - 14 with an unique program aimed for them to help explore each of their individual roles and responsibilities in community life, being of service to others, learn what it means to make sacrifices for a greater purpose, and will bring themselves to account each day.
The deadline for registration for both camps is one week before start date.

Revised Capacity for the Summer Camps

There will be a limit of campers accepted to each children's/Junior youth week. The limit for the summer camps will be 48 children, due to the safety/security of the campers the SLBC programming committee and staff wish to maintain a 4:1 ratio of children to counsellors. This will be strictly enforced by the registrar. Thank you for your understanding.

Camp Counsellor
The SLBC Programming Committee is encouraging youth from ages 16 to 19 to consider applying as Counsellors at the Children's Camps for July 2012. This is a volunteer position, and requires high moral standards, rectitude of conduct, love of service to the Faith and enthusiastic disposition. Youth thinking about applying should begin the process of completing Ruhi 1 and 3 or Ruhi 1 and 5 as this is a prerequisite for the position.
