Exciting new development at SLBC this summer!
The SLBC Program Committee has an exciting new program in place for the weekends of the summer children's camps of 2011. Children's camps will now be able to support your children staying throughout the weekends of the children's camps. What this means for you, as a parent, is that you can arrange to leave your children at the Sylvan Lake Baha'i Centre for the duration of the camps! This program is for your child/children who are staying on to the next week only, not for parents and family to attend. For those of you who wish to leave your children, you can rest assured that your children will be in good hands. This summer, we have a camp "parent" who will oversee the children who stay at the camp and ensure their safety.
Please note, that there will be an additional charge for those who wish to partake in this new program, but we know that the benefit of having this opportunity in place will far exceed the nominal fee for your child/children stay in such a wonderfully spiritual and loving environment.
Please contact the SLBC for more information, and to make arrangements!

Due to the the security of all staff and children during the summer camps, parents and family are not allowed to stay at SLBC during the camps, unless they have been approached by the SLBC Program Committee to volunteer and have met all security requirements.
As some kids might have food allergies, parents must ensure that kids do not bring any food to the camp that may contain any trace of nut in them. Please note that many chocolate or snacks have traces of nuts in them.
